HSL2000 A4 Laminating Machine -- Very Special Offer -- Limited Stock

The Model HSL2000 laminating machine is made of plastic structure for portability. It is affordable, reliable, efficient and easy to use machine. It is meant for use for A4 size or smaller documents. It is light weight but comes with all the convenience of the laminating machine features. This is also a cold laminating machine as well as the regular hot laminator. AC power is pre-requisite for the use of this machine.

This HSL2000 machine is equipped with 2 silicon rollers for flexibility and smooth transition of the laminate between rollers providing a smoother and flatter surface finish. With these, there is no need to adjust rollers gap to accommodate for different thickness of documents to be laminated. The machine can accept laminating pouch of sizes up to 220 mm wide (slightly larger than an A4 size's shorter side) and up to a thickness of 0.5 mm of the laminate. The thickness of the laminate range accepted is from 80-125 micron.

From the moment of power-on, it takes about 2.5-4 minutes to warm-up to the required temperature. When the set target temperature is reached, the Ready light will light up GREEN and indicates that it is ready to be used. For an A4 size documents, using our Flexi laminating pouches of 100 micron, it only takes 30-45 seconds to complete the lamination.

To use cold lamination, turn-on Power switch selecting "Cold" using the Hot/Cold toggle switch (II) side. Cold lamination is used to only protect one side of the surface of the document and does not use any laminating pouches. Instead, it uses a single sided glue-based plastic clear sheet for the top surface of the document to be laminated, and a bottom wax-based sheet for protection against excess glue from the top glue-based sheet from contaminating the rollers. Noted here is that both sheets are to be of same size and slightly bigger surrounding the whole area of the document to be laminated. This combination of the glue-based transparent sheet is put facing down the document with the waxed -based paper on the underside of the document that need to be laminated, and the whole thing is then fed into the laminating machine to complete the cold lamination. The glue-based sheet with the wax-based sheet is also known as Cover Seal, which is used for book covers etc. and available from us as well.
